Master of Science in Energy Management

This program combines the strengths of two major institutions. Bodø Graduate School of Business is well-known for its specialization in business and management disciplines, such as innovation, entrepreneurship, marketing, management control, transportation, and ethical and environmental management. MGIMO, meanwhile, is top-ranked for its focus on geopolitics and management in the fuel and energy sector.; Delivered by Bodø Graduate School of Business, MGIMO faculty, and adjunct faculty with ties from Johns Hopkins University in Washington, D.C. and Columbia University, the program emphasizes international perspectives on global leadership and strategic management in the energy sector. The highly qualified professorial team consists of scholars of distinction, working with business and government, and teaching in executive education programs in Norway, Russia, and the United States. Graduates of the program will become part of a global network of business contacts across borders. Graduates receive a Master of Science in Energy Management diploma from Bodø Graduate School of Business and a joint diploma from the Russian-Norwegian Institute of Energy.

Formal prerequisites 3- or 4-year Bachelor in Business Administration or equivalent with satisfactory results. The following topics must be covered as part of the undergraduate study:
Business Analysis: 55 ECTS credits
Economics: 15-20 ECTS credits
Method: 15-20 ECTS credits

Students who are not native speakers of English, must document knowledge of English with one of the following tests:
•TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) with a minimum score of 550 points on the paper-based test or 80 points on the Internet-based test
•IELTS (International English Language Testing System) with a minimum score of 6.0
