Organization description Gjøvik University College has approximately 2500 students and 270 teaching and administrative staff. The university college is organised in three faculties: Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Computer Science and Media Technology, Faculty of Health Care and Nursing. Gjøvik is situated on the western side of Lake Mjøsa, in the county of Oppland. The university college is located on one campus, nearby the town centre. Gjøvik and Lillehammer University Colleges have established a joint international office, which is responsible for the international relations of both institutions. Gjøvik UC offers bachelor programmes in Nursing, Radiography, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Media Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Geomatics, Technology Design, Computer Science, Information Security, Digital Media Technology, Media Management and Media Design. Gjøvik University College offers international master programmes in Information Security, Media Technology in addition to the Erasmus Mundus programme, CIMET, in collaboration with partner universities in Finland, France and Spain. |
