Organization description University of Nordland has with its 5500 students, of which approx. 400 are international students, and 550 staff an established position as an excellent education and research institution. UiN puts the student in the centre and is a place for learning and experience. We have 3 campuses, the main one in Bodø and two smaller campuses in Helgeland and Vesteraalen. In addition we teach in several places in Nordland County. UiN is continually investing in its facilities to ensure that everyone can gain the most from their years in education, both as students, teachers and researchers. Students here study a diverse range of subjects and acquire skills and knowledge in a dynamic environment. Our research and study programmes are carefully designed to satisfy the needs of professions, industries and communities in Norway and worldwide, and our main areas of study are aquaculture and marine sciences, social sciences, business and professional studies.
