Organization description Vestfold University College (HiVe) is located in the county of Vestfold in the southern part of Norway, 100 kilometres south of Oslo. Vestfold University College is a medium-sized university college with 2500 full-time students, and 2000 part-time students. Altogether, the College has an academic staff of 230 and a technical and administrative staff of 130. HiVe offers programmes and courses at Bachelor and Master level within nursing, teacher's training, engineering, maritime studies and social sciences. HiVe has close relations to the local business and industry, especially in the areas of technology and research. The main campus in Borre is built as a modern academic and technological centre with bright and pleasant glass yards. Vestfold is known for its hospitable climate, its intimate and beautiful seaside, and its coastal towns.
