| Programme description | The master's degree in English literature permits students to gain insight into literary research, and to augment and improve their knowledge of English literature and language in the light of Anglo-American literary theory and cultural history. |

| Formal prerequisites | Applicants for Master's Degree Programmes are required to have a minimum of 3 years of study at a recognized university or college beyond the minimum requirements for matriculation at a Norwegian institution of higher education, which means to a level equivalent to a Norwegian Bachelor Degree.
