| Programme description |
A master's degree in Statistics will give the student a fundamental knowledge of statistical concepts, principles and methods. The master's program ends with a research project over two semesters. This project should be adapted to the students interests and skills, and be within the research fields of the institute.
A master's degree in Statistics requires an interest in mathematical thinking and comprises studies of statistical methods and probability theory. An applied statistician ought to have interest in and knowledge of the field where the statistical theory is applied.
