Programme duration one and a half years(obligatory course attendence in Oslo 1 September - 30 June)
Programme description The programme is designed to qualify candidates for: - positions in social and health services that require the knowledge and ability to undertake the systematic documentation and evaluation of social and health service programmes, and the knowledge of international and comparative studies within health and social welfare, - employment in agencies or voluntary organisations engaged in international health and social welfare programmes, developmental assistance, etc., - teaching positions in educational programmes for social workers and those working in related health professions, and - research positions at lower levels within the same fields.
Application deadline 15th of December 2010 - for applicants with a Bachelor's degree taken outside of Norway, Sweden or Denmark. Note that we will allow an extension of a month for those who apply late. 15th of April 2011 - for applicants with a Bachelor's degree from the Nordic Countries.

Formal prerequisites - Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a university or college. - Two years work experience in the field of social welfare or in health service after completion of one's bachelor. - A sufficient command of English.
