| Programme description |
Bergen University College offers a joint masters program in Software Engineering with the University of Bergen. The program is organized in different courses, totally 60 ETCS and a thesis on 60 ETCS. The students will receive a joint degree from Bergen University College and the University of Bergen.
Students attending the program will gain competence on creating high quality reliable software products in a systematic, controlled and efficient manner, with important emphasis on analysis, specification, design and evolution. The candidates are also trained in evaluating and choosing the right technologies, methods and tools to develop complex ICT systems. The program is research based. The candidates will learn about research methods in Software Engineering and documents these skills in a master thesis |
