| Programme description |
The MPhil programs at the NLA University College aims to encourage students to focus on themes that emerge from their own national and cultural setting, and to deal with these topics on the basis of recognized methods and with constant reference to the on-going research in the disciplines concerned. The MPhil courses are run every second year.
Master of Philosophy in Education (run in years with uneven numbers) Consists of the courses: Comparative Education, Curriculum Theory and Educational Planning, Educational Psychology and Sociology, Educational Philosophy and Theory of Social Science, Research Methodology, Master Thesis. Master of Philosophy in Religious Education (run in years with even numbers) Consists of the courses: Old Testament, the New Testament and History of Theology, The Christian Faith in Context, Theory of Science, Research Ethics and Methodology, Science in Christian Education with Essay and Selected Readings, Master Thesis. |
