Programme description Management for sustainable use of natural resources requires knowledge and awareness of prerequisites, an understanding of the connections and the ability to communicate better between differenc disciplines and actors. How Can the increasing enegry demand on our planet be met in a sustaiable and fair way? How can everyone get access to clean water?

The MSc programme in Natural Resources Management is unique due to its combination of disciplines from fields of technology, the natural sciences and social sciences. The MSc programme in NRM takes 2 years of full-time study. In short, this programme will give a specialist education and the knowledge required to solve numerous interdisciplinary challenges related to the management of natural resources.

Formal prerequisites BSc/BA/BEng degree within Biology, Chemistry, Geography, Geology, Biomathematics or similar, Economics, Sociology and Political Science, Engineering or equivalent degree in areas related to natural resources management. Pleace note that each specialization has specific admission requirements, for details see http://www.ntnu.no.. . English requirements: International applicants should document either a TOEFL test with a mimum paper score of 500 (170 computer based test) or better, or an IELTS test score of minimum 5.0 or better. Norwegian applicants must fulfill the basic requirements in English language from the Norwegian Higher Secondary School (engelsk grunnkurs).
