Programme description The students of the master's programme of Telematics - Communication Networks and Networked Services can choose among the following specializations: Networks and quality of service, Services and systems engineering, Information security. The goals of this master's programme are to educate academic engineers with in-depth knowledge of Telematics for the multitude of needs for the actors in the commercial and public sectors. As a basis for the specialization you will get thorough knowledge and skills within general topics such as: access and transport networks, dependability and performance, information security, networked services and applications, network and service management, engineering of distributed systems and multimedia networking. With this cometence as a basis you will learn advanced topics within your chosen specialization.

Formal prerequisites A Bsc/BEng in Engineering, Telematics, Sumputer Science, Software Engineering, Telecommunications, Electronics, or similar is required. Applicants should also have passed some courses at university level in calculus, statistics, programming, operating systems, discrete mathematics and logics, computers, communication technology and algorithms. English requirements: International applicants should document either a TOEFL test with a mimum paper score of 500 (170 computer based test) or better, or an IELTS test score of minimum 5.0 or better.
