Programme description The programme focuses on analysis of religion and/or ethics in a social context, and one makes use of both systemic-normative, historical, and empirical and social theories and methods. The programme offers flexibility and the profile of the degree is a matter of the student's own choice, depending on what profession or qualification they aim to achieve.


The programme is comprised of six courses and a master's thesis (60 ECTS credits) with a related course in the science of theory and method. The six courses take one year of full-time study and the master's thesis and related course an additional year. Normally, four elective courses will be offered every year.
