Programme description

The Executive Master in Energy Management is a cooperation between BI Norwegian Business School and the well-known business schools ESCP-EAP and IFP School in Paris, France. The program includes a theoretical base of energy economics and energy policy supplemented by financial and operational issues concerning the energy industry, with an emphasis on the oil, gas and electricity industries.

Participants will receive a solid understanding of the technical aspects of energy economics and the strategic challenges of European and global energy markets. In addition, attention is paid to the political and economic forces that shape the international competition for energy.

Formal prerequisites
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent (Transcripts not in English should be accompanied by a certified English translation. In certain exceptional cases the Admissions Committee will consider candidates who do not have these qualifications but who have substantial managerial experience.
  • 2 letters of recommendation (At least one should be from a business source attesting to the applicant's performance in a work situation)
