Master of Science in Electric Power Engineering is a two-year Master’s programme. The goal of this programme is to provide candidates with knowledge, skills and competence in the planning, design and operation of electric power systems. You will learn to develop innovative solutions for a sustainable future power system, as well as designing electrotechnical equipment for application in industries such as utility, ships or railway. The programme is a two-year full-time study, giving a total of 120 ECTS credits.
This enables you to work with solutions and technologies within the energy sector.
The Master’s thesis topics are linked to the research activities of the various research groups at the Department of Electric Power Engineering. The programme will have a mixture of Norwegian and non-Norwegian students, with an annual intake of only 25 students.
