The Master's in Engineering Structures and Materials will provide you with all the necessary engineering tools to turn challenges into opportunities. The MSc program in Engineering Structures and Materials provides students with an expertise and advanced knowledge, skills and general competence in Mechanical and Structural Engineering and Materials Science through the following four specializations: Mechanical Systems Renewable Energy Civil Engineering Structures Offshore Structures

Formal prerequisites

Specialisation in Mechanical Systems/ Renewable Energy:

  • A Bachelor's degree in mechanical, material, marine, process or equivalent with a solid foundation in mechanical engineering, is required.

Specialisation in Civil Engineering Structures/ Offshore Structures:

  • A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering is required.
  • Applicants with another Bachelor’s degree may also be considered for these specialisations if they document at least 40 ECTS credits of structural engineering specialization courses and 5 ECTS credits of engineering materials science knowledge

All applicants must have at least 30 ECTS credits in mathematics/statistics/calculus.
