The Master's in Engineering Structures and Materials will provide you with all the necessary engineering tools to turn challenges into opportunities.

The MSc program in Engineering Structures and Materials provides students with an expertise and advanced knowledge, skills and general competence in Mechanical and Structural Engineering and Materials Science through the following four specializations:

  • Mechanical Systems
  • Renewable Energy
  • Civil Engineering Structures
  • Offshore Structures

Applicants with a Bachelor's degree from Nordic countries: February 1 - April 15

Formal prerequisites

For specialisations in Mechanical Systems/ Renewable Energy:

A bachelor's degree in mechanical, material, marine, process, structural engineering or equivalent is required.

For specialisations in Civil Engineering Structures/ Offshore Structure:

A bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent with minimum 40 ECTS credits of structural engineering specialisation courses is required.

All applicants must have at least 30 ECTS credits in mathematics/statistics/calculus.

Proficiency in English on an advanced level is required and must be documented. For more information, please visit the programme's website.
