Controlling factors as improved performance, cost-effectiveness and safety become crucial in the hunt for success. The Master's in Engineering Structures and Materials will provide you with all the necessary engineering tools to turn challenges into opportunities.   The MSc program in Engineering Structures and Materials provides students with an expertise and advanced knowledge, skills and general competence in Mechanical and Structural Engineering and Materials Science through the following four specializations: Mechanical Systems Renewable Energy Civil Engineering Structures Offshore Structures   The four specializations have a sound international profile with students from all over the world. Graduated students have a comprehensive background in engineering science and technology and will be able to apply this knowledge within the area of their specialization. After the completion of the course package they can: provide consulting, work in industries or projects, be managers or researchers, design technological products and perform field measurements.

Local applicants with a Bachelor's degree from Norway: April 15

Formal prerequisites

Specialisation in Mechanical Systems:

A Bachelor's degree in mechanical, material, marine, process or equivalent with a solid foundation in mechanical engineering, is required.

Specialisation in Renewable Energy:

A Bachelor's degree in mechanical, material, marine, process or equivalent with a solid foundation in mechanical engineering is required.

Specialisation in Civil Engineering Structures:

A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent with a solid foundation in structural engineering subjects is required. Specialisation in Offshore Structures: A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent with a solid foundation in structural engineering subjects is required.

All applicants must have at least 30 ECTS credits in mathematics/statistics/calculus.

Proficiency in English on an advanced level is required and must be documented. For more information, please visit the programme's website.
