International Community Health

We train students in international community health research and interventions in a multidisciplinary classroom, with students from all over the world. This M.Phil. is a research programme where students carry out fieldwork in Norway or abroad.

The programme prepares students to participate in community-based health promotion and disease prevention research with a focus mainly on middle and low-income societies. Students are encouraged to use their research findings to improve the quality and effectiveness of community health action. The master's degree program is multidisciplinary, multicultural, and multi-professional, creating the broadest possible learning environment.
