Universal Design of ICT

All information should be accessible to all, including people with disabilities, so that they are all included in every part of society. The programme aims to meet the growing need of society for knowledge and expertise in universal design of ICT solutions.

The Master’s programme will produce qualified employees for software development, consulting companies, and innovative business in universal design of ICT solutions. The programme is relevant for interaction designers, software engineers and related professionals in the public sectors, non-governmental organizations and private sectors, as well as those who are interested in further studies at doctoral level.

Application deadline 1 March for applicants from the European Union / European Economic Area (EU/EEA) and Switzerland. Applications accepted from 1 January. 15 December for applicants from the rest of the world. Applications accepted from 15 October.
Formal prerequisites Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology or other equivalent qualifications, which include at least 80 ECTS within the field of computer science.

Previous successful applicants held bachelor’s degrees focusing on human-computer interaction and interaction design. Other highly relevant subjects are inclusive design, universal design, user experience design, and user-centred design.

Proof of English proficiency is also required.
