Survey: International students

Diku regularly publishes reports based on surveys among international students in Norway. The last survey was published November 2019. The report presents international students' motivations for, experiences with and assessments of studies in Norway. The survey also reveals where the students found information that made them decide to come to Norway.

Here you can read more about the report: Norwegian and international students need more meeting places. The purpose of the survey is to gain knowledge about the international students' motivation, expectations and study experiences. This knowledge helps Norwegian institutions and authorities improve the services provided to the international students and to improve the quality of Norwegian higher education. The 2019-survey was distributed to all students with non-Norwegian citizenship at most Norwegian universities and university colleges. The overall response rate for this survey is 39% and in total 5977 students completed the survey.
